From what vendor can a leaning post seat be purchased that is similar to the leaning post seat shown below?
I want to purchase a leaning post seat with storage for my 1971 Nauset 16.
Vendor for Leaning Post Seat
Re: Vendor for Leaning Post Seat
The leaning post seat with storage shown in the image above is a Boston Whaler accessory for larger OUTRAGE boats. It would not be a good fit on a 16-footer.

Understood.
Is there is a company with a website that sells something similar in a smaller application?
Re: Vendor for Leaning Post Seat
A good method to find websites that offer leaning posts with storage is to use a search engine with the arguments "leaning post seat storage".
For example, this search found many vendors offering leaning post seats with storage:
http://www.bing.com/search?q=leaning+post+seat+storage&search=&form=QBLH&sp=-1&pq=leaning+post+seat+storage&sc=3-25&qs=n&sk=&cvid=AF7B722F82D74EF3BAE0156D8562F23D
However, as I mentioned in my earlier reply, leaning post seats with storage are usually intended to be used on boats with considerably wider beam and considerably longer length than is available in the cockpit of a 16-foot skiff.
The original interior components of a 1971 NAUSET 16 boat were constructed of varnished wood. You should consider maintaining that motif and constructing a leaning post seat with storage of your own design to fit the available dimensions of the console and cockpit using fine woods.
