Identify Year of 13-footer

I recently acquired a 13-foot Boston Whaler hull The state registration indicates the hull is from 1969. The [hull number] is 0752.

Q1: Is there a basis to interpret the hull number as being indicative of 1970?

If 0752 is the white stenciled number on the inside of the transom under the outboard, that's an old one.
Numbers 100 through 4499 are 1958 - through 1961 model years.
1969 Has numbers 28501 through 2A2400.

No. I don't see any basis for the number 0752 meaning "1970." I cannot infer how you made that association. Perhaps you can explain your method of interpretation of the number.

In the epoch when this boat was made, there was no such thing as a federal hull identification number or HIN. The requirement that boat builders mark their hulls with a uniform method of identification of the manufacturer, the hull production serial number, the month and year of production, and the model year was not implemented by the federal government until November1972.

A stencil number of 0752 would indicate a rather old 13-footer, build in the era 1958 to 1961.
