Identify Model and Year from Photographs

Postby Majuzu24 » Thu Feb 29, 2024 10:07 pm

Please identify the model and model year of the boat seen in Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 below.

Q1: can the boat seen in the photographs be powered by twin engines?

As seen partially in Figure 2, the transom appears to be a full-width transom, which could easily accommodate twin engines.

The model is likely an early 19 OUTRAGE. Those hulls were made in c.1972 to c.1978. If you measure the length of the hull it should be about 19-feet 4-inches.

Q2: what are those huge black wounds on the hull sides near the gunwales as seen in Figures 1 and 2?

Sorry for the delay, I'm considering installing twin engines and have found that the weight of the Mercury 90 is the same as the Mercury 115. So, I'm thinking about using twin Mercury 115 engines.

The huge blacks wounds are the name they just sent me the pictures like this.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated for inspiration in restoring the boat
