Q1: what is a likely selling price for the the 1995 Outrage 17 [with 115-HP engine and trailer] seen below in Figures 1, 2, and 3?
I believe the OUTRAGE 17 is one of the last years of Dougherty hull designs.
The condition of this boat is fantastic. It has been garage kept. The 1997 Johnson Ocean Runner 115-HP has about 320 hours.
Appraisal: 1995 Outrage 17
Re: Appraisal: 1995 Outrage 17
I am assuming the fuel tank is original and there is no canvas bundled with the purchase.
This time of year [the sale should be around] $12,000 to $14,000.
In Spring 2025 [the sale should be around] $14,000 to $15,000
You are going to have to filter out all the lookilooo's who will say the engine is worthless and the boat needs to be re-powered (at a cost of $18,000).
Be patient.

Re: Appraisal: 1995 Outrage 17
As an older two-stroke-power-cycle engine, a c.1995 Johnson 115-HP Ocean Runner was a nice engine for its day. When in proper tune it should start easily and run very well.
One concern you should anticipate with an OMC engine of that age is the fuel-oil mixing pump may need attention due to use with ethanol-gasoline blended fuels.
When you decide to list the boat FOR-SALE, you should give much greater detail about all the elements included in the purchase:
--boat: accessories, canvas, anchor, other gear included;
--electronics: chart plotter, SONAR, VHF radio, electronic charts;
--engine: propellers, oil tank, maintenance history, any recent replacement parts;
--trailer: brand, size, tires, brakes, lighting, keel rollers, loading guides.
Also explain the modification to the pilot seat height.
