Is there a magic trick that can clean slight mildew from vinyl seats?
Appreciate any tips.

Remove Mildew on Cushions
Re: Slight Mildew on boat Cushions - Magic?
Works well for me.
Good luck.

Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover - Walmart.

A few tablespoons of Borax in about 2 litres of warm water will remove most mildew stains and, as a bonus, help to prevent them coming back.

Go to your local supermarket, Walmart, or similar store and pickup a box of Magic Erasers from the cleaning supply isle and give those a try. It's a foam sponge that removes all kinds of dirt and stains from vinyl upholstery (and more) with a little water. They last a while so when done just put in a zip lock bag until you need it again. They are my single go-to product when cleaning vinyl upholstery and no chemicals.

Well I tried 3 different products without noticeable improvement. I then splurged for a Marine 31 Mildew Kit, with free return if I was not satisfied. The Marine 31 Kit knocked it out of the ballpark. The before photo below shows what the seats looked like after the 3 other products were tried. Then the after photo shows the results when Marine 31 kit was used.

Re: Remove Mildew on Cushions
I had tried a number of vinyl cleaning products on our larger boat, including products from well-known, reputable companies, with little success. After 15 years in the sun, our cushions still had mildew and stains. We were considering getting some new cushions, but they are quite expensive. Based on this thread we tried the Marine 31 kit, and the results were amazing - the cushions look just about brand new. I was very surprised at how much more effective the Marine 31 cleaner was. I'm not generally one to go hyperbolic about a product, but seriously it's that good.

Good to hear. Glad I suggested it. I was considering new seat cushions also. I bought a Rolex YachtMaster Watch instead. :-)
