SPORT 11 Wood Locating Diagram

Postby RideOrDive45 » Mon Mar 30, 2026 2:48 pm

Q1: where can a wood locating diagram be found for a SPORT 11?

Q2: to help secure rail bases should I shape and glue wood to the hull surfaces and mount the rail bases to the wood?

BACKSTORY
I spent a summer overhauling my [SPORT 11] and learning a lot along the way. One mistake I made was using nutserts in the gunwales to mount the bow rail. I used them on the deck and in the topsides as well. Iknow it's only a matter of time before they rip out or water gets in.

I like the position of my rails and brightwork, but there is no wood behind the fiberglass.
