Is there a metal tag on your transom; starboard side? If so, the last 2 numbers represents your yr. Good luck! |

If you email Whaler customer service giving them your serial number, they will not only tell you the year of your 13 footer, but the date it was "born" and (sometimes) where it was shipped.Give them a try at www.whaler.com Good Luck. |

Scott: What year would your chart place a 13 with serial number 9602? Previous owner said 1963. |

I have asked BW service for my actual year and date of shipping of 1971 Nauset. It is serial no: 3A4539 and we bought it new in 1971. Was it shipped that year or earlier. |

The chart was re-printed in the May 1999 "Classic Whaler News" I'll be glad to share it with the whaler Forum. Jim....where do you want me to send it? The chart sez the Nauset was built in 1971. Scott |

I sent an email to subscribe to the newsletter a few weeks ago, but haven't heard bk yet. Is it an email or snail mail newsletter? |

The "Classic Whaler News" is a snail mail publication. It contains a lot of good information but is a little sporadic in its publication. I have sent a copy of the chart refered to above to Jim and I bet it appears on this site soon. I will be glad to answer any questions based on the info on the chart until then. Scott |
