Hi all,

First trip out to the bay from a large,
busy marina last weekend. Several obs-
ervations.

1.) People in Whalers are the most polite,
friendly and functional. Not so everybody
else. We almost got the back of the boat
smashed off while waiting in line to load
her by an out-of-control yacht. Luckily
able to move out of the way and they hit
the dock.

2.) A good way for the wife to learn to
drive the boat in a hurry is for hubby
to hook a sixty pound bat ray.

3.) Take more sunscreen or put up the
top. Oops. Desert tan is a very useful
idea to minimize glare.

4.) Chop that looks like we're gonna
die in the morning is ho-hum after a few
hours with the Montauk.

5.) Very fun and relaxing even if all we
caught was sharks and rays.

Rebecca, aren`t Montauks awsome. I also believe the Desert Tan is superior to the white Whaler is useing now. They just don`t make any sence down there at the Whaler factory anymore. Glad you are loveing you`re Montauk! Regards-Jack Graner.

Rebecca it sounds like you put in at Berkeley. What a zoo. Try Richmond or Alemeda its a lot better.

Thanks, guys. Hi, Tom, we went in at
San Rafael, at Loch Lomond. Not again
on a sunny weekend, that's for sure.
This weekend we're fixing the carpet
on the bunks and fishing the sloughs
up by Napa. Nice how versatile the
Montauk is. Maybe we'll see you out
in the bay one day! Rebecca

Hi Rebecca. I dont care that much for Loch Lomond either but its way better than Berkeley. The whole Bay Area is getting pretty nutty. Im on the water somewhere every weekend. 18' Outrage has Little Bear on the back. Yell at me sometime.

We'll look for you, Tom.
Our's is a Montauk with
"Our Turn" on the back.
(We're changing it to
Sarah Lorene.) Watch out
for party boats and hope
the fishing's good for you.
