Hey Tspring, I'm sorry I haven't got back sooner. You should be able to find pictures on the cetacca. We had a 1965 13 whaler, with a 40 hp nissan, center console, cooler seat, bench seat with storage just in front of the console, standing platform in the stern, stainless steal rub rail. That little boat was a champ. see ya, Ed Stone |

Based on your current question--there seems to be a new question daily--I wonder if you have looked through the entire website? You are asking "Where do I find pictures of a Boston Whalers on the internet" at THE place on the internet that contains the MOST pictures of Boston Whalers. How about spending some time looking at the rest of the site, before posting the next question in the FORUM? Thanks, --jimh Site Publisher

JimH, you'd be surprised how many folks don't have a clue what the devil "Cetacea" means in your navigation bar! Tom |

tspring et al:We get many posts looking for a picture of a Whaler (especially) 1960's 13's of a specific year. Being lucky enough to have many early brochures I would note that many of the same pictures were used by Whaler from at least the 1961 brochure through the 1969 brochure. For example in the 1969 brochure there are three large color pictures of 13' 3" Boston Whalers on pages 4 and 5. Each picture had been used throughout the 1960's. The boats are pictured a Standard model with a 1959 Evinrude 10 HP, a Sport with a 1961 or 1962 Scott 27.7 HP (the same picture used in an article in Saltwater Sportsman at that time, and the third one is a Sport with a 1961 4 cylinder Mercury (white with black cowl) with 2 young boys diving off the side at the same time. All of these pictures were used to represent many years of production in the 1960's. The pictured Nauset in the 1969 brochure is the same one used on the cover of the 1962 brochure. What I am trying to say is that when a Classic Whaler owner asks for a picture representing a specific year Whaler from the 1960's, they do not need that specific year to see their model. Any year will do. Amazing the consistency Whaler provided for the first 10-12 years of production. Hope this helps picture hunters. Dave |

tspring didn't mean any offense! In fact that Comment was directed at Jim who happens to run this site --- newcomers often don't know that is where the photos are stashed -- and there are numereous photos of 13's under the reference section as well as the photo gallery --- I have surfed the net for years this is the only place you'll find a quantity of Whaler photos --- Tom |

tspring, I remember the day I picked up my new(used ) 1971 `13 Sport, I was 14 years old and was practically shaking as we drove the 30 miles or so to pick her up. I know how you must feel to own you`re own little `13. I sold her to buy a `16 Whaler, but if I could do it again I would have kept her too. So enjoy her and if you can keep her forever and give her lots of love. Regards-Jack Graner. |

TSpring, this might sound crazy but a good source of seeing pictures of other Whalers besides this forum is the used boat classifieds on the internet. I have seen and copied many photos using this source. Look at and search www.Ebay.com, www.boattraderonline.com and www.boatscape.com as starters. Many sellers include photos of their boats. Use the search words Boston Whaler and 1965 and/or 13. |
