I saw a Tempation 22 laying around (the registration sticker is '97) and before I see if the owner wants to sell it, I'd like to find out some information about the model.Does anyone have a link to somewhere with interior layouts and diagrams? Thanks, Rich

Had one of those until recently. Im a BW fan from way back. The most impressive thing was the length of the bunks, just try to find any other boat, new or used that has a 7 foot bunk. My boat was a 1988, 2200, with a Mercruiser 7.4, with a Bravo drive. unfortunately this boat was kept in the water by previous owners and IMO was not really pampered the way I would have. The boat was a solid 22' hull, same as the outboard outrage, as a matter of fact you could see the outboard blank in the engine room. This boat went fast, although the 7.4 was a little too much for it as it became unstable at hight speeds. It took a light touch on the trim to keep it under control. The cock pit had plenty of room for two on the weekends (which was done all the time) but diving was a little tough with the engine box in the way. My previous boat was a montauk, which was much better abiet smaller. I guess it really does depend on what you are planning to do with it that counts. List more specific intentions and I will give you my opinion. I know this boat inside and out and will be glad to tell you the straight story. |

It does look like a good deal. Others should check it out if you are looking for a larger Whaler. The ad says it can be bought for $13k with the twin Yamaha outboards. Rex |
