Ok you fellows and ladies that own "newer" Whalers, Jim H has requested photos (the request was sort of hidden in a recent thread on another topic -- heh heh)! They should be as interesting as possible. Meaning that you should take them showing off your boat --- i.e.., items added, custom work if any, good action shots fishing, water skiing, tubing, and even nice close ups of the features inherent to the boat. Read Jim's photo suggestions here --- http://continuouswave.com/whaler/cetacea/guide.html I know there are a lot of you new Whaler owners out there , not just from the forum post but are "lurking" reading the forum so join in and get some photos in --- Come on now let's get them in before the season breaks wide open --- I firmly believe all members will be real interested in seeing and discussing your boats in a constructive and flattering manner so don't be shy --- Tom |

Sorry - No way would I ever want pictures of my 1999 21' Outrage here. (obvious reasons). Of course someone could sneak into the marina (private) and take a picture but if I am there they will be playfully put in the water and arrested for trespassing. Chuck you have a great site and Montauk (I owned one). Thanks for sharing with us. Now if we can get Greenspan to retire all is ok. LOL |

Maerd, why are you such a bitter Whaler owner? Is it because some people don`t like the newer style Whalers? I feel you take it too personally, as it is just peoples personal opinion, not to denagrate you`re Whaler. I guess alot of us are just Classic minded, and are even a little biased and opinionated, but not degrading. There has to be newer Whaler owners that wouldn`t give a dime for my 73` `16 Currituck, but that is o.k. it`s the American way, and I would still respect their opinion and have a beer(preferably Amstel Light if I could afford it!) with them and talk old and new Whalery stuff. So join in and get the bad taste out of you`re mouth or this site will continue to bother you for no reason. You`re buddy-Jack Graner. |

Alright, if I can I will get some photos of the Chestertown Tea Party Whaler meet this May. It may not be right away, it should be good. There should be a good mix of Classic and New. So Come One, Come All and have a good ol time. Bear |

I will contribute! I have been meaning to do so but have been having Scanner trouble. I have some shots of me and my wife on the Dauntless in front of the USS New Jersey at her final resting site in Camden NJ on the Delaware river. Dauntless16ft / Battle Ship 900 ft. Puts things in perspective. Blackdog |

Blackdog, you`re right about putting things in perspective! I run along side 1000 footer Iron Ore ships in Lake Erie and man is my `16 Currituck small. There is a big port in Conneaut, OH., and a night drive by them is beutiful with all of their lights on! Enjoy you`re Dauntless! Regards-Jack Graner. |
