Does anyone know a brand of premixed one part poly that comes very close to the dessert tan on the deck of a 1977 Montauk?...I've heard of spectrum and some others but I am looking for a paint, not a gelcoat...Sorry if there is already info on this, I really have read most relevant titled posts...Thanks!--Dan

Dan -

The best bet for matching your color would be to take the boat to a local good autopaint dealer that can electronically analyze the color and mix some up for you.

I ended up having both the inside and outside mixed, and where I've had touchup done, you can't tell.

The paint was Concept2000, which is a two part paint. Supposed to spray it on, however I had real good results in brushing it on, then wet sanding, and finally buffing it out.
