I have been negotiating w/the owner and have got the price down to 15K from 18K. Boat is a 81 hull w/new outdrive. Boat will need tlc and the usual elect. pkg. The boat has 2 gas tanks, what size? Anything I should be looking for inconspicuous. Has anyone ever removed the I/O and installed a bracket and outboard? If I go for it there will be a 88-22 Revenge for sale

Sounds high to me. How much TLC are you talking?

Did not mean it sounds high. price sounds nice at $15. Have you test driven it yet? Is this the boat in CT that was on the other post?

Gas tanks should be 70 gallons each.

Check Fuel fill lines to see if they are rotten.

Hope this helps,

Pete

Should be 2 70 gal tanks, I guess engine pan for I/O sits where baitwell nomally is. I think you have to find out how BW modified the hull after it came out of the mold to turn it into an IO before you know if you can reverses the process. Look for Chuck Bennets contact info at BW the posts over the last few months. Send him a email.

Hell with O/B's and a bracket. Go with a 502 EFI and really liven that thing up, plus great MPG(compared to twin 2-thirsty-5's).

Go to the revenge Vs Outrage post. There is a 1987 22 Walk around with a freshwater cooled I/o for $12,900 in Tampa.
