Hello all. Is anyone aware of any aftermarket
consoles(preferably fiberglass) for an old
13' classic. Thanks, RonM

Ron, I think you may find some info (for sure on wood) in the OEM section of the forum. Regards, Jay P.S. Welcome aboard!

carolina skiff consoles are great for this(cheap too). A nice small console with or without seat in front(I would go w/o if front twart is still nice) is roughly $125 with storage underneath for battery and jackets, etc. 13's are a much more functional vessel if you can stand up on rougher days.

RonM-- The Misc Boat Parts section of most BoatTrader mags advertise shops that could set you up with a console. David

For several years now BW had made their own fiberglass side console for the 13, 15, & 17' Alert hulls. It was also used in the "standard" models of 1997/8. To see it, look at the commercial models at whaler.com.

I doubt if it costs much. Maybe you should try them if you want to keep your boat "all Whaler". I just saw a recreational hull colored one recently, in a new Alert. They are simple and nice looking. The wheel is top mounted. This unit can be used to replace the mahogany console in any classic Sport Whaler, and looks nice when so done.
