I just called Pate Plastics about a fuel tank for the new montauk. They were not aware of the new model. She thanked me for making her aware of it and was immediately going to call BW to check on the dimensionsof the new RPS to see what size tank would fit under the seat.
She said she was thankful that BW didn't decide to build the tank into the hull.
She will call me with the size tank that can be installed and the price and I will post it as soon as I know.

I will say I am grateful that my Montauk does not have a built in tank for longevity and maintenance reasons. I know Pate will do a fine job but I hope they make the fill nozel a bit more accessible than my 27.

Just spoke to Pate( RE: fuel tank ) and they feel that their 27 gallon Model C will work with the new Montauk. They spoke to a few local whaler dealers and will call them as soon as a new one arrives so they can measure & reconfirm the fit.
