My travel agent just called and has a time share available 2/8-2/15 for free. We just have to pay air fare. He also told me fishing is great and cheap. We can charter a private sport fisher for $200.00 a day.
The question is; has anyone been there or fished there? I also have to talk the boss into letting me take my son out of school for a week. Thanks in advance. Jay

i did cozumel last Nov and within 300yards of shore landed a 12lb Mahi. we then caught 5 more. 1/2 day was about $220 on a "wellused" 30 Sportcraft with a diesel. It included tip and beer I believe. we also gave them 3 or 4 of the fish and they were thrilled. Funny thing was Mahi is not really in season then and that is all we got.
If air is reasonable...go for it. You will not be disappointed but.....it is still Mexico.

I did Cabo Sept.2000. Thirty foot 70's fiberform with 3/4 ply scabbed across the transom to cover the outdrive hole and an inboard diesel. $300 full day, 12 dorado, Capt. and deckhand almost no english, everybody laughed all day and I tipped twenty apiece (they filet and bag) Only thing that would have made it better is if wife hadn't been too scared of the boat to go. This is what life is supposed to be about.

Been there 5 times stayed at the Pierre Marque. Very laid back. Be careful of the sun. Only fished once. Went with a group of four for 1/2 day Sailfish trip. Only one fish caught, BY ME! Others where on the bow catching rays. You snooze you lose.
