There seems to be a question about the spec of 1250 pounds for the weight of a 1981-1990 Outrage hull and something considerably heavier...1500 to 1900 pounds.

Has any Outrage owner out there actually weighed the hull or motor/hull/trailer and got a real weight number?

It effects the tow vehicle and repower horsepower needs.

The '92 18'6" Outrage "19" used the same outer hull as the OR18, but weighed 1900lb, 650lb more than the classic 18.

The difference was in a bigger, heavier console, different inner shell with a lot more shapes and a lot more glass.

Perhaps that is where the confusion comes in.

Whalers seem to be like people: the older they get the clumsier and fatter they get.
