Namaquoit's first new crew member, Jillian Margaret Gere, came into the world just before midnight on April 17. I am so thrilled I just had to share the news with all of you. Mom and daughter are doing great!-Andy

Congratulations Andy! I suspect your poor Montauk will be quite lonely for a while. |

Terrific - Another member of the Classic Whaler community. Won't be long, and she'll be doing what my 25 year old daughter just did:Convinced her boyfriend, who has determined he wants to buy a boat, that there is only ONE boat she'd be interested in, a Boston Whaler (with Mercury power, of course!). So the guy will be out looking for one, with her help, knowledge and 25 years of experience! And next week we'll be clinching the deal, since they're both spending 5 days on "Whale Lure" in the Keys, the first time for him. Andy, you'll have many rewarding days taking your daughter out on the water! |

Congratulations Andy! Meet the new BOSS.You will learn new lessons in patience while launching and recovering your boat. My four year old daughter loves going to 'her' beach. We were at the lake this past Saturday and the kids she met on the beach wanted boat rides. No Problem. We also saw a Dauntles 18 on the water. Pretty rare for inland Georgia. |

Congratulations on your little girl! Nothing like a newborn baby. Best wishes to you and your family. We have an 8-month baby boy. It is such a joy to watch them grow. Don

Hey Dad! One thing you have to do is decide right away is if you are going to apply diapers with her feet to the left or the right. I prefer right. Once you start doing it one way, you can't switch. But don't worry about boating, kids grow up way too fast, Jillian will be going out with you before you know it. |

Congrats, Andy. Kids are the only thing better than a whaler. |
