It's like Christmas!!! Just a note to share my fun. Many of you have been of great assistance in the removal of my belly tank, new steering, wiring, etc. The UPS man and FED EX man have been bringing me STUFF for the last couple days. New Blue Sea System switches, Morris throttle controls, Racor fuel filtes, wire, carpet for the interior, rope and chain for anchor, etc. It's been great. I LIKE MY TOYS!!! I just wish they were already on the boat. Any Suggestions for which gauges would look good against new Mahagony dash panel? Thanks, and may you enjoy your Toys as much as I'm enjoying mine. Dave

I think the coolest analog gauges on the market today are the Teleflex "Premier Pro" domed glass gauges. With the new domed shape, they are easy to keep polished and don't collect water. They call them "Fog Free", but they are not. None are! The night lighting is particularly neat. The white mumbers and markings glow bright red at night. I have installed them in my 25 Outrage, and now am converting my 18 outrage to them also. These are basically the same gauge as the Mercury "Flagship" line, which has been standard equipment on Whalers before the advent of the digital "Smart Gauge" technology. |

check out teleflex's "Lido" series. I installed them in a new mahogany plate on the front of my montauk console and they look great!. Stainless with lighted white background. Numbers glow red at night.Ll. |

I agree the Teleflex guages look great, I especially like the beigh face. I bought a brand new set on ebay and they look great against the mahogany. The set was new mounted on a Starcraft dash panel, included tach, speedo, volts & fuel gauges for about $45.00 as I recall. Darrell |
