I have a commercial 65 on my currituck and it runs fine but what are the major differences between the commercial and regular engines. I have heard conflicting stories. One is that the commercial has more stainless on it and others say it was just a stripped 70 hp no frills motor. The model year is an 84. Also possibly looking to replace once I redo the boat this winter but on shoestring budget anyone know of a cheap dealer that sells reliable lease returns or refurbished motors. Would idealy like to put a new 70 tohatsu onboard but a little hard for my wallet.
