I have some sharp non-skid that is heavily oxidized and chalky. What would be the best way to clean it up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Comet brand cleanser has always worked well for me. It is an abrasive cleanser so be careful about using it on highly polished gel coat.

Bar Keeper's Friend is a good cleanser for use on rust stains. It contains oxalic acid which is what gets rid of the rust.

Try Simple Green cleaner, it works like a charm.

Sofscrub has always worked for me- less harsh than Comet.

After the Comet, check the Woody Wax website.

I agree with Tom, a dock neighbor saw me scrubbing the deck last weekend & asked me if I wanted to use something that would change my life. He brought by some Bar Keeper's Friend, and it makes quick work of scuff marks. Much better than Comet, Soft Scrub or Simple Green. You can get it at Smart & Final in a 3-pack for about $7. Try it, you'll be glad you did.

Whalerdude mentioned that he tried everything... and then pressure washed his deck. Claims it is the answer...

David Pendleton gave me the idea when I commented on how clean the deck of his pristine Conquest 23 looks.

I tried my mother in law's pressure washer and was delighted with how great my floor looks. I have never seen my deck cleaner or brighter.

It even got rid of the mildew stains on the base legs of my RPS. I need to get one now.

There was a post on another forum on a product sold by Boat US, or Boaters world, forgot the name, it's made to shine non skid and remain non slippery. As far as Bar Keepers, by far the best thing that I have ever used period, use it on my deck, rails (stainless), rod holders and rusted gel coat. Also another "find" was Simple Green Marine (Liquid Spray), this stuf will clean up oil, canvas, chairs, coolers faster than any other.

Does Keeper's Friend have anything special it other than oxalic acid? I always just use oxalic acid (comes in a little jar in powder form). A little hard on the wax though.

Not sure, but I believe oxalic acid is the active ingredient in Davis' FSR (fiberglass stain remover).

I use FSR as well.
I will test all three on some rust stains around the forward rails this weekend... and report on Monday.
