......what a Boston Whaler is! Silly me.
Yesterday I went to look at a classic 13 and ran across a couple of acquaintances (two separate instances) and told them of my intention to go look at a Boston Whaler that was for sale.
The first guy's reaction was:
"How big are they? You mean the black and white ones with big eyes?"
I said: "No, no, not a boston terrier; a Boston Whaler. You know, a boat!"
"Ohhh"
The conversation with the second one went something like this:
"A what?"
"You know, a Boston Whaler, a boat"
"Is that a sailboat or something?"
