I'm considering installing anchor pulpit on 25 OR. Has any one here removed the existing bow bit. I don't want to break screws off removing this. Appreciate any help

I have removed my Bow Bitt for cleaning.
I would recommend soaking the screws first with "Break Free" or "Liquid Wrench" for a couple of days. During this time, soak it several times every day. Don't rush it. Let it soak in....
When it comes time to remove the screws, don't over do it. If they are still frozen, you might have to think of another appoach.

Been there... done that.

I am the master of frozen screws. Or just unlucky? On a lot of the stuff sitting around saltwater for 25 years... you'll end up drilling off the head and using a pair of Vise-grips to get the screw out... no big deal. Just be patient.

But do you really want too this? It is never pretty.

And it's always that last damn screw!

Oh Master of Frozen Screws,
I know what you mean.....
Why is it always the last screw that gives us problems???

Murphy's Law???? Or are we all Unlucky??

Drilling Stainless Screws is not fun but it can be done. As you say, PATIENCE!
I agree.... And the right equipment....
