How do whaler hulls react to expansion and contraction forces due to temperature change, especially darker, painted hulls? Is there any pressure differential created, Boyle's Law and all? Intact foam does not absorb water, but with a below water line crack, would this help introducing water into the foam? Thanks for your replies.
