Ditto! It's great. But I still can't find a photo of my model--1983 22 Revenge Cuddy.

I'm glad you all like the CDs!

George,

You're in Boca Raton, no? So it took no more than 63 hours to get there from Seattle! People like to complain about the US Postal Service but my experience working with all this literature, sending it all around the country has been nothing but great.

I go down to my Post Office here in Seattle late on a Friday afternoon, hand them a small package and tell them to deliver it to the door step of some guy in Boca Raton, FL first thing Monday morning, and they do it for $1.30 in first class postage. Amazing.

R.S.,

There are several photos of the Revenge 22 Cuddy on pages 17 and 18 of the 1984 catalog.

To all,

If any of you encounter any problems with these CDs, I want to hear about it ASAP. Thanks.

Tom,

I received mine at 1:00 P.M.,3/10/2003. Thanks for having the initiative and drive to bring this project together in such a short time. This will be an invaluable asset for those interested in Boston Whalers for many years to come.

Some Post Offices may be good but I have not received mine here in Upstate California...

I live 10 hours from Seattle and didn't get my copy... Yet, other folks around the country have already received there copy...

Something is wrong with some of these Post Offices..

Poor Me......

Came this afternoon. Now I know that I have a 1982 13 Sport with the optional bow chock, stainless steel wrap around rail (with mahogony backrest), cushions,...

It is nice to know.

And, the Hot Link to ContinuousWhaler works!

Great job.

Came home from a particularly unpleasant day at work only to find more problems awaiting me in my mailbox. How the hell is a man supposed to get anything done with this incredible banquet getting in the way?
Just spent two hours pigging out...with many more dishes yet to sample and digest. Hail to the chef, Tom! ...an amazing
fea[s]t.

Tony

Found out that I've been mispronouncing the name of my '71 Ka-TAY-ma ever since I bought her last October...it's like getting a new boat, but it sure sounds funny...I liked the "ahh" sound better, I think. Guess I better blame this on you, too, Mr. Clark.

Joe,

You were the fourth order on the list and yours was the fourth set of CDs out the door. I suspect that people who live near urban areas get their mail a little sooner and those in rural areas get theirs a day or two later, that's all.

Scott,

The price lists and CPD stuff is all there listed by year. Within a given year, you need to scroll down the thumbnail views in the left frame until you come to them or use the links at the top of each year's contents in that frame.

In general we organized the material by putting full line catalogs at the top (if available) followed by flyers, options and accessories, CPD material and finally price lists (if separate from the catalogs).

Thanks Tom! Mine was here in Ephraim, WI Monday morning. We have no mail delivery service, and a less than fulltime Postmistress. If anyplace can be considered "end-of-the-line" on a postal schedule, this would be it. I agree with you Tom, lots of folks slam the USPS, but not me. In my business I used them exclusivley for package delivery because no other service could match delivery times and price.

I received my CDs Monday. Thank you for the wonderful job. I noticed all the legal requirements granted by Whaler. Are they looking to distribute these to thier dealers at all? It would make a great training package on the history of BW for those who care.

I’m really glad you are all enjoying the Catalog Collection and appreciate all the nice emails I’ve been getting.

Joe and George,

Hang in there. Let's hope today is the day they come.

As of yesterday, I’ve received eight complaints about the Volume 2 disc not being readable and in some cases freezing the computer it is being used on. I spent quite a bit of yesterday troubleshooting the problem. I have verified that there are some bad discs out there and have replaced one disc locally here in Seattle with positive results.

It turns out that some percentage of the Sony media we burned Volume 2 onto is defective. The result is that the disc cannot be read be the computer and may confuse it. I have two bad discs in my possession now and they are both unreadable on four different drives but readable on a fifth.

I encourage all of you to verify that your Volume 2 discs will work in your computer. If any of you find a bad disc please let me know and I will send out a replacement ASAP. For those who have already contacted me, your replacements are on the way.

If anybody finds anything else wrong or out of place on the Catalog Collection, please let me know about that too. As recently as yesterday I found a wrong page in the Outrage 22 index that needed to get swapped for the correct one.

Indeed, the catalog CD's ROCK! It's great to finally see some of the models that I have only heard about. Now I'm thinking I want an Eastport or Sakonnet.....but I've only up to 1969.
ShrimpBurrito posted 03-13-2003 12:06 AM ET (US)     Profile for ShrimpBurrito  Send Email to ShrimpBurrito
And how bout page 3 of 1969? They made a big hole in the bottom of the hull for porpoises to climb aboard for transport. Now that would only happen in a Whaler.

Tom--

Top Shelf! Just like the boats!! My copy made it's way all the way to Northern New England before some of the guys in CA got theirs!

Only one wish, just to be able to "point and click" to obtain some of the many classics contained within.

My hat is off to you Tom!

Best,
