This is an excellent write-up on Whaler's response to FAQ. I particularly like the link to their older online catalogs...

The website they mention is not a Boston Whaler invention, it is an "internet time machine" website that has preserved snapshots of the "web" at various point in time, including their own various websites.
They are not older catalogues, but just snap shots of the website at various times.
Try visiting previous versions of this website using the same technique.

This goes back to a time prior to registering the domain "continuouswave.com".

Thanks for the clarification.
Nonetheless, I feel that it is still refreshing to hear most of what we profess as SOP, from "the horses mouth". I find the information to be solid reinforcement for what are the excellent recommendations of the authors on your site.
What I do find particularly interesting/saddening, is the lack of a sophisticated prose in the Whaler FAQ which was once so present in the original owners manuals.
Times change......At least we have the classics.
