logjamslam	posted 05-09-2003 10:43 PM ET (US)         I was looking through the various photos and equipment lists compiled by John in his calling all 22 post and didn't see any 22 WD with a kicker mounted. Lots of notched 22's but no 22WD's. Is there enough room for a kicker? Or will it have to go on a bracket to the side? Thanks, Greg
OutrageMan	posted 05-09-2003 11:37 PM ET (US)             The one that I bought had a single 250 Yamaha, and a kicker that was mounted on a custom bracket that was bolted to the WD on the port side of the motor. A deckplate was installed on the deck of the WD and the foam removed in the area for the bolts. An aluminum backer plate was mounted on the underside of the deck to accept the bolts. The deck plate gave access to these bolts. Brian
John from Madison CT	posted 05-10-2003 06:56 AM ET (US)             I've thought the same thing. I guess there isn't enough room for a kicker alongside a single engine on the Whaler Drive. I would hate to hack things up to get a bracket mounted seperately. John
