Stevo	posted 05-29-2003 01:41 PM ET (US)         posted 05-29-2003 12:53 PM ET (US) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do I understand from Tuna1 & Tom2697 that the BW Rage with the OMC turbo-jet drive is actully a private-labeled Yamaha unit? If so would it be possible to totally re-power the Rage with a "drop-in" Yamaha propellor unit with some hull mods? Thanks Steve
tuna1	posted 05-29-2003 04:35 PM ET (US)             You are incorrect!!! To set things straight- The Rage I series 1992-1994 was powered by a transplanted Yamaha Waverunner jet power train. The Rage II series 1993-1997 were OMC TurboJets OR Mercury SportJets.The best RageII was a late model with a SportJet. One is not easily converted to another type,it's a matter of lots of $$$$$$$$ to do it correctly.
