How can I check the transom for rot??? The boat had a new fuel tank put into it six years ago, and has been sitting on its trailer inside a gargage since! It has Six yr old GPS, Color Fish, Loran, VHF radio, Compass. The centercosole has a cover, and all the wood looks good, just needs some oil or something. |

Oh, Its the 1972 22' outrage...they also said that the engine was rebuilt six years ago and then put up for storage. |

72outrage, did you read the posts to your previous thread? If it's a 72, it's not a 22' Outrage, it's an Outrage 21. The photo 57-06 on http://continuouswave.com/whaler/cetacea/cetaceaPage57.html may help you to identify your boat. The first version of the Outrage 22 was made in 1978, but was called the V-22 at the time, since the old style Outrage 21 was still being sold. |
