upsetnauset	posted 06-26-2003 07:39 PM ET (US)         Does anyone know of the least expensive way to ship an 11 foot Standard and small bunk trailer from Long Island NY to San Jose California? Have a serious inquiry on the boat but not sure if the shipping will make the deal unreasonable. Car transporter?

I'm also somewhat suspicious of long distance buyers as there have been scams where buyers produce bogus checks and by the time you find out the boat has dissappeared. There are plenty of 11' Whalers out west. Likewise, there are plenty of 11' buyers on Long Island. Those boats are ideal for tenders on the Grand Banks trawlers. Try contacting the Grand Banks dealer in CT.
