Ed, Nice combo! I like the static trim, seems to be perfect. I look forward to see more pic's. How is the reliability of the motor? How about parts availability for the motor? Thanks, |

This site doesn't allow HTML in posts, but you can use UBB code which is similar (just use square brackets instead of < > and don't forget the slash in the closing tag, http://mysite.verizon.net/ecz/

Ed, beautiful shots of the boat and the motor. I got the same feeling I would have looking at a 62 Austin Healey 3000 that had been restored to its original splendour. Good on you, mon ami. Roarque |

mtbadfish, There are no parts availablefor the motor, but Dick Fisher was the kind of guy to make use of common "off the self" parts where ever possible... Most every thing can be obtained today if you know where and how to x refference them... A few exceptions are the water pump impeller, the main prop shaft bearing, and the thermostat housing... I have found it to be a very reliable motor... The trim is very good as the motor only weighs 280 lbs (about the same a 2 stroke 90 does these days)... I even have two batteries in the back (one for motor, one for electronics)... The lake its in is Seneca lake (upstate New York)... I go there for 2 weeks every year... |
