since I have a 2003 255 Conquest, That one's gonna require a lot of work, but it's doable. What a shame, hopefully those scumbags will get caught!

Looks to me like a minimum of $35k to repower/repair. After spending $14k on the hull it might not pencil out.

And you tell me where you can buy a 2003 255 for less that $100 grand........ $49000 is a great deal.

For the record, I am not affilliated with the company selling the boat, I am have no interest in whether the boat sells, and was not offering it for sale. I just thought that it was interesting...... I am a lawyer not a boat broker!!!!!!

dhlaw-The answer to your question is boat trader. The first 25 conquest that came up was $50k and it had canvas. I can broker that for you and keep it under $100k if you like :-)

Gaack! that's one beat-to-heck boat.

I'd take that 2002 25 Conquest in FL in a heartbeat.

What's missing from the stolen boat is all the stuff that doesn't cost the manufacturer so much because they buy it in quantity, but costs a TON individually - I'm thinking of all the upholstered items, the electrical panels, plumbing hatch covers and the like.

By the time you re-rig new 225-ish engines and controls, re-run every piece of wire on the boat, buy all the new little bits, and repair the damages, you'll be well into the range of a boat one year older, but with a warranty, factory wiring, original parts, etc.

Re-sale on the stripped boat will be tough as well - you'll have to make very clear that all this replaced stuff isn't factory - doesn't bode well for future value.

It'd be an interesting project, but only for those with all the time and money in the world.
