Just saw Sienfeld's 2001 Outrage on E-Bay, less then 100 hrs on it with an asking price of $64,000. Being sold by 2nd owner.

Seinfeld's whaler... I wonder if it's anything like "Jon Voight's Lebaron"...

I wonder how many documented hours J.S. spent running his boat? Not many, if any, I would guess. He seems more like a Wave Runner type of guy, (riding in the second seat) type of guy to me.

I was just trying to remember who's LeBaron that was in that episode!

This smells "fishy" to me. Any Jerry Seinfeld fan will remember the episode where George buys "John Voight's" Chrysler LeBaron. That episode brought to memory a time as a Boy Scout when I met a fellow Scout up on Mackinac Island. It was the early to mid 1980's and "Miami Vice" was top rated on TV. The guy who raised and lowered the Governer's Mansion flag every morning and evening? Don Johnson (same name as the star of Miami Vice).

I'm sure that Jerry Seinfeld (the comedian) isn't the only one in the US with that name. Google yourself some time to find out how many others carry YOUR name. Some of them might even own a Boston Whaler.

This is a case where confirmation and verification will be extremely important, unless the boat is not selling for a premium, in which case it really doesn't matter!

Good morning.

I contacted the guy to see what year the engines where. He responded back with the SN:

The serial numbers are as follows.
OT323243 and OT332847. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best, -Drew

For anyone really interested

Nice Newtauk :-)

Whuu-ut's the deeeeal with the unsinkability?

When faced with a boat buying decision that involves un-SINK-able, and sinkable. What kinda person goes "Ya know, I can swim, lets go for sinkable"

Crowd erupts into uproarious laughter

I bet there is some reference to Superman on the boat.

The reason the serial numbers were posted is because the current owner did not transfer ownership with mercury. They engines are still registered to Jerry Seinfeld.

Jimh said on the fifth day of the Rideau sail log:
We can't resist the temptation, and we buy two small bags of dark chocolate. Hershey throws in a free sample for each of us, huge Oh Henry bars. Back at the boat with sore feet--I should have changed from my boat shoes for that long walk--we cast off and resume the trip.

A Seinfeld episode said:
Jackie: That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!

Kramer: It was outrageous. And she's the heir to the O'Henry candy bar fortune.

Jackie: Could you repeat that?

Kramer: I said she's the heir to the O'Henry candy bar fortune.

Jackie: O'Henry? That's one of our top-selling candy bars. It's got
chocolate, peanuts, nougat; it's delicious, scrumptious, outstanding! Have you been to a doctor?

Kramer: No.

Jackie (speaking to the intercom): Susie, call Dr. Bison, set up an appointment for Mr. Kramer, tell him it's for me.

Kramer: So whadda ya think, Jackie? I mean we got a case?

Jackie: Like taking candy from a baby.

The link between Seinfeld and Boston Whalers seems to be growing.
