I guess I am selfish to think I cornered the market on beautiful Outrage 20's. I thought mine was one of the nicest around but I spotted this one on eBay. Beautiful condition especially for a saltwater boat. I still think mine is probably equipped a little better but it is a nice 20 Outrage. I will be curious to see what it sells for. http:/ / cgi. ebay. com/ ebaymotors/ 1989-Boston-Whaler-20-Outrage_W0QQc mdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a4Q7c65Q3a10QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em 14Q2el1318QQhashZitem320283043384QQitemZ320283043384 |

J, That is a nice looking Outrage 20. While looking at the pictures, I notice that an ice chest forward of the console is not possible. I have never noticed that before. Do you have the ice chest seat forward of your console? Just interested, |

Doug, You make a good point. Now that I look at the pics, I wonder if the boat is advertised incorrectly and that maybe it is a Outrage 18. Look at my pics in my profile. I have room in front of the console and have the large cooler seat. It looks like the original console on this boat although the winshield is not original. Joe |

Could the Console have been moved forward to accomodate the boats stability and T-Top mounting? Pat |

Pat, That is possibility. I went outside and took a look at mine. From the pictures it looks like this guy could of moved his console forward 10"-12". The 20 Outrage does have a tendenc to be slightly heavy in the aft end. Maybe he did that to solve the porpoising. I think it is better to just add trim tabs like mine. |

The console has been moved forward quite a bit from the original position. |

Moving the console forward would make more room in the rear of the boat to fish. RM |

I believe he moved the CC forward. Those forward hatches are classic Outrage 20 1989 but the CC is way forward of the factory position. |
