I have looked for pics but have seen only one I am trying to identify if my new 1969 13' Whaler is factory or modified It came from a barn had sat there for over 11 years owner passed and it took weeks to dig it out I am told .

shows little use or long careful use He had owned it since 84 .

there is a deck over the anchor hatch with access in front of deck seems to be made of quality thick mahogny so maybe a factory mod.

Seat bases are fiberglass only tiller steering on the mariner.

Thanks for all the info I have qleened so far.

Chuck,

Your boat is a 1967 not a 1969.

It has been modified from whatever it was originally.

Thanks Tom

Makes it easer to undo not too fond of fishing but was reluctant to butcher a stock boat.

I'll use it for the next few months as is.

That looks like a nice bare hull to work with once you tear all that crap out.

The boat once had side rail as the backing plates are still there. the rub rail is original. A couple thwart seats and seat clamps and you would have yourself a very nice vintage Standard 13 with a good Yamaha motor (which is what that Mariner really is).

Cool I was wondering what thoes crome plates were on the outside.

Now to start undooing the glued on carpet in the bow the main deck is a removable board / once the "seats" are out.

any wood bits still available? or the measurments so that I can duplicate them?

source for siderails?

Thanks

I have to look into the Motor since it has not run for a long time . It puls through and shifts ok but I have not run it yet.

would Mariner or Yamaha be the source for parts ( I figure the impeller is ... well it may not Be. in the Shakepearian sense.
