That's just sad. Not his fault (the boat owner) but someone should scoop that stuff out of there and throw it out/recycle it (depending on what it is). I'd be concerned about surface scratches/damage to my gelcoat along the waterline... |

it reminds me of the books I look at with my daughter where you have to find objects in a picture. Kind of like Wheres Waldo.. In this pic I spy a flip flop. Anyone else see it? |

It's all floating. I spy Jimmy Hoffa. |

I think I see Jimmy Hoffa. That is most likely litter from the streets that washed into there from some spillway. I live on a small retention pond (with huge bass) that gets garbage in it after every rain. It all comes from the streets. I'm the only resident that goes out there with my Nifty-Nabber and picks it up. I've always believed litter could be the easiest thing to solve. Just pick it up and throw it away properly. Doesn't take any special research to find a solution or government mandate. It's probably the only solvable problem in the world. Maybe I'm a dreamer. |

Palm fronds in the foreground rule out NJ. I suspect the photo is showing hurricane debris someplace a bit further south. |

And the answer is.....Nigeria. I was surprised to see a Whaler made it there, but think I will be cancelling my travel plans to there ASAP. |

There are (2) whalers in the shot I think the one on the other side of the dock is a 28 Outrage? |

Nigeria huh? In that case, both Whalers are probably owned by professional con artists, who bought the boats with the bank account numbers provided by an easily scammed senior citizen. It's almost a shame those boats are unsinkable... |

That picture doesn't look too different than the "shit river" in Olangapo. |

Nigeria? Really? You got to be kidding me. I guess I should have responded to all of those emails I got when I was selling the Outrage.....I could have made a killing off some of those offers! Reminds me of Lake Erie back when I was a small, small, boy. The boat does not look like it has bottom paint...wonder how it is holding up. :P Anyone notice that there is an Outrage on the other side as well. I can never remember if that model was a 28 or 29 Outrage. |

By golly, I think I do see Jimmy. Note the wear marks on the painted pile. The dock, pier and gangway angle indicate the water level is just a tad above normal. I would bet money the plastic trash accumulation is wind driven following a extreme high tide or storm surge. This stuff will stay trapped until the wind changes direction. Palm trees, private dock/frontage...looks like the Outrage is sporting black twins...very very nice. |
