This boat has me beat.

Just for fun, take a look at this amphibious boat. When you go to the link, you can look at photos and video clips of the boat driving down the road, down the boat ramp and into the water, pulling skiers and driving down the beach.
I thought it was pretty cool.

It sure got my attention. I like the video where it drove fast on the water, onto the beach of a little island, down the beach and then back into the water at the end of the island. Looks like it would be a blast to drive around.

Folks in the north know that you can skip a snowmobile across the surface of a pond, lake, or river for quite some distance if you are good and fast and lucky. I also know some folks that have dropped their sleds into very deep bodies of water attempting to push their luck.

Brian Thanks for the photos, But I think it would be have been faster over ice than land (no friction)....

I am not buying 39 mph on water unless it has a running start.

The photos on water do NOT show it planing.

No way it will plane from a dead float. Maybe if they get it going fast on land and drive it into the water at 60 mph, it will go for a while before it sinks or goes to displacement.

I say no way. Skeptical. I call BS here.

That's pretty awesome.

I would definitely pay an exorbitant amount to rent one of those for an afternoon.

They need to see if they can tune that exhaust note a little though. Rrrrreee!!!!

Well in a bad economy people can kill two birds with one stone and save money getting a car and boat in one.
