I'm looking at one next weekend. 2006 180 with the 135 / DTS, dual axle alum trailer. The boat looks to be in excellent condition. Anything I should look for in particular???

It does not have the fishing package or any electronics, not even a VHF. I was told the former owner only used in on a freshwater lake. Motor has 52 hours. The asking price is 29.9. I was going to make an offer of 25K and hold firm.

Thanks

If you go for a test run check the lateral stability at low speed, mine seemed a little squirrely in no wake zones until I got use to the boat. Does this boat have trim tabs? This is a definite plus if you have a couple of passengers on the rear bench seat underway and you can’t redistribute the load. I have a 2006 Dauntless 180 with a 150 Verado, same motor weight as the 135, and mine would be hard to trim out with engine trim alone. Best regards, SK

Thanks for the info
No trim tabs, but they would be easy enough to install. Do you have the DTS? If so how do you like it?

I like the DTS, it's silky smooth and responsive, you have to watch it in reverse though.
