After reading the discussion on 'Horespower Rating Changes' I started to wonder if the maximum weight shown on the capicity plate includes the weight of the motor?
If it does, with the weight of the 4 strokes and some of the older, lighter weight hulls, I'll bet there are some over-weight boats on the water.
