I'm looking at a 1999 Ventura; what is the actual length? The advertisement says 20' but from reading some of the forum here it seems like the boat is 21'. Does anyone know for sure? Also, how tall is a 1999 Ventura 20 while sitting on trailer? The boat is out of state and I want to make sure it fits in my garage before proceeding further. My garage door is 7-feet tall. Length is no problem. |

The hull length for my 2005 210 Ventura is 20'7" from what I recall, but the engine and small anchor pulpit puts it over 21' long. I seriously doubt it would fit in a standard garage, as it sits very high on the trailer. Mine is marina-kept, all year. |

The LOA of newer (post c.2001) 210 Venturas are 20’7”. A 1999 20 Ventura would be 20’ even. Can’t help you with the trailer height. I’d think it would vary a bit based on the trailer selection and setup. |

Where can the boat specifications for the 1999 Ventura be found? Sounds like they changed the design after 2001. |

Very nice Moose, much better than that archive on the BW site. Thanks! |

My 1996 20 Dauntless, which I believe is the same hull, has a LOA of 19'8" according to the manual. |

I stand corrected. Looks like 19' 8" is indeed the right figure. I took a tape measure to a 20 Ventura last spring and I swear the LOA was only a hair under 20’, but I’m certainly not going to argue with the Whaler archives. |
