Br*ns*w*ck Corporation Declares Bankruptcy PRNewswire - April 1, 2009 Dustin McCoy, CEO of Br*ns*w*ck Corporation said in his press release, "with the impending Federal investigation into the cash reserve position of the the firm, combined with the recall of every Verado engine manufactured since January 2007 in the Marine Engine business segment, Br*ns*w*ck Corporation could not not meet it's immediate financial obligations." In addition to the investigations and many problems experienced with the economic downturn the boating industry is going through, Br*ns*w*ck Corporation is also dealing with the myriad lawsuits involving the Exercise Equipment division and the multiple cases of hernia litigation that have arisen. McCoy stated that he is "resigning immediately" to seek opportunity elsewhere in the Investment Banking Division of Bear Stearns. The Br*ns*w*ck Corporation Board of Directors wished him well. Don't we wish... Tuco Imagine a free-standing, lean & mean BW enterprise again run by the likes of Dick Fisher and Bob Dougherty. Imagine. Hey, that would make a great title for a great song. |

At just over $3 a share it might not be too long. Wonder if the Gov would bailout the countries last outboard manufacturer like they did Harley? |

I was out on the net searching for recall notices for my engin for 30 min. before it finally dawned on me the story was BS. It was the hernia litigation bit that made be suspicious, but these days you never know. Actually, it was a pretty funny gag. |
