I just wanted to give some kudos to Chuck Bennett. In the process of buying my Dauntless 180 I must have emailed Chuck 20 times with different questions about the boat. I always got a response within a day at the latest. I usually received an email within 1 to 2 hours. I can't think of any other manufacture that has the kind of response BW has. Thanks for all your help Chuck.

Chuck is always quick to answer my stencil and older Whaler questions. Truly a great guy and a pleasure to deal with.

I said essentially the same thing in a post yesterday. Great resource & great P.R. for Boston Whaler.

You guys should be writing John Ward as well. It just takes a minute and trust me, no one at Whaler truly realizes what a resource, brand ambassador, and overall all great guy to this community he is.

Henry,

Yes, he has been doing a a long time and I am sure most there know he is a good guy. Trust me though, I do not think they fully know nor understand how much of an asset he truly is.

Well Jeff;
I sure do like the sound of that.
Chuck was very patient,courteous and helpful to my phone inquiries.
I truly was at a loss about identifying the specific year and number of My Girl.
Chuck went into "The Vault" and phone in hand quizzed me about some possible positions for a manufacturing's number.
I did look here and there to finally zero in the port bow fender section where a six digit number was plainly printed.
I am in his debt as without his help;
I would still be trying to find out about this very important info.
On the other hand;
I would like to read of a bit of a Biography on Mr John Ward.
I am sure that A good number of us would find such a read very pleasant and instructive.
I would find it to be a pleasure and a privilege to have been introduced and in good time;
To chat a bit about a number of subjects..
Thanks for pointing it out Jeff.

Serge.

Luckily I've never had a problem with my Whaler, in 10+ years of ownership. However, it's good to know that some companies have knowledgeable people available to help out their customers. I've contacted the manufacturer of my other boat a few times with questions and they too have been helpful and quick to respond. And owners groups like these help out a lot too. Thanks Jim!

I second third and forth the good words about Chuck Bennett.
His knowledge about all things Whaler is vast.
Whaler does a good job on customer service.

Chuck will be getting an e-mail from me as well on my new-to-me Whaler. I always get a reply with the info with 24 hours as to when my hull was made, what model, what dealer it was shipped to and on what date, etc. I have no idea where else one would find this info.

From what I have seen, in particular from and following a visit to their Edgewater facility - many, many Whaler employees are a credit, of significant value to the company. I was given a personal tour by one of their engineers and discussed a couple of things that got my attention with one of their managers following my return to Idaho. Good people - from many aspects. I'm sure that Chuck Bennett is among those valued personnel benefitting the Whaler company. I guess that is, in part, why I will always have a Whaler. -------- Jerry/Idaho

I too think Chuck Bennett is great asset for Whaler. He has looked up hull numbers for me several times with quick and friendly responses. Great guy and certainly good for Whaler P.R.
