Peter	posted 05-20-2009 08:36 AM ET (US)             I use the plastic guides only on the aft half of the inner bunks on my trailer. In other words, the aft half of the inner bunks have the plastic guides the forward half of the inner bunks have carpet. The plastic guides are slippery. The nice thing about them is that they are white and I can seem them underwater which provides a nice target for loading the boat.
