I'm looking at a used 13 footer, and the seller has provided me with the hull stencil number that is confounding me a little. it is:
2c2346
Both the serial number decoders here and on whaler central stop at hull sequence 2b, somewhere in the 1972 timeframe.
Here's where it gets even weirder. The seller _thinks_ it's a '69 or so, BUT it has a 20" transom, and he said the original interior color was tan. From our own reference section, it appears that those two features appeared in later 1972 at the earliest.
Before I bug BW with a phone call, I thought I'd solicit some opinions here.

Would have to be a LATE 72 or newer.
