Can anyone help me identify this model? I know the picture is bad but it's all I got. The guy selling it think it is an -88 and that it is more or les 17 feet... Are these railings original? (looks a little short?) What about the stickers? http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt171/takrafft/BW/Bilde017.jpg Thor |

Thor - It does appear to be a Montauk. The rear set of rails has been moved forward. The bow rail appears original. The Whaler decal is original but the blue strips and trapazoid have been added. The console and rail appears a bit off, but I think it may be a visual miscue, caused by the additional (non-OEM) starboard console door and missing plexiglass windshield. That's my answer with only 1 cup of coffee (it's 6:20 a.m. on a Monday morning.) |

I have now recieved another picture, inside. From looking at this I believe this is not a BW. I think it is a A.HELLAS, a BW replica made in Greece, with BW RPS and steering wheel. A pitty, I thought I had found a reasonable priced BW....... http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt171/takrafft/BW/Bilde020.jpg Thor |

I do not think it is a true Whaler. There are interior and console design details that are wrong. |
