Where is the plate on a 2004 130 Sport that has the hull serial number? I have looked all over and can not find it. On my Montauk the plate is on the outside of the transom but not on this boat.

Well;
You will find the stamped number on the outside of the transom.
The number will be on the Starboard side mid to lower section below the ladder's first rung's area.

Thanks for your reply. It's not there on this boat. Heck maybe I don't even have a Whaler. The title does say Whaler and has a hull number. Why would this be missing? There is no evidence of a plack ever being on the transom.

Tom;
I will guarantee this info to be correct.
Will it be possible that the transom was filled or repaired prior to???

Well, I found it right where Ritzyrags said it would be. I was looking for a metal plate with the ID number. The number is embossed in the gelcote and I could not see it at all. I found it by running my fingers over the area. Guess I have a Whaler after all.

Put some tape surrounding the imprint and give it a couple of coats of black marine enamel.
You can wipe surrounding paint with acetone but leave the inbedded paint to dry.
After drying remove the tape and admire the black number for all to see.
