My boat is on a lift at the marina, hence the question to the brain trust. I am renting a getaway place in the sunny south. It has a garage that the owner says will fit 19' length. Will my 06 150 Montauk, swing tongue trailer rig fit?

Solid knowledge, educated guesses, and speculation is appreciated, in decending order.

Add 2'0 for the motor (trimmed down) and 3'0 of the trailer tongue/hitch to the LOA of the boat.

Another way is to measure the trailer and (assuming the transom does not overhang the frame, add 2'0 for the engine.

Then again, you can pull the tongue completely which will get you to 17'0.

My 15'3" sport fits in an 18' single stall garage, at a slight angle.

My tongue is removable so I have nothing forward of the bow.

I just went out and measured my Montauk 150 out in the garage. It would be about 18 ft. if the tongue were folded and the motor was all the way down. Hope that helps!

Yup, I measure 18 feet too on my 150 Sport with the motor all the way down and the tongue folded. Have a great vacation!
