The spell check is really nice to keep JimH happy. But unfortunately the content can still get out of control.

Spelling is really not a priority here. My principal interest is in improving readability by use of a few simple methods of form and presentation regarding capitalization which are universal in English writing and taught in the primary grades. There are many extremely well educated and learned people who participate here who continually make simple spelling errors in their writing, but for the most part this is entirely ignored by me and (apparently) most other readers. However, this nonsense with writing without capital letters is completely ridiculous.

I have even received business e-mail without capital letters used in the entire letter. I do appreciate your efforts here.

Thanks Len for posting what I really wanted to say. Sometimes I think English is my 2nd language. I draw better that I can write!
Happy Sunday and hope everyone had a great boat day!
Still working on mine.

Jim, I think it is a sign of the changing times, kids in school rarely write any more its all by computer. Here in Fla. because the FCAT Testing System the skill of writing is over looked to help kids pass the test. You must pass the test to advance to the next grade. So less and less time is spent on the rules of writing. Just ask a young person who is Merriam Webester they would have no idea...Take care
