Hate to do it to you. This is today's Bodega Bay weather buoy report. I was out there alone yesterday roaming around and fishing 8-10 miles north of our harbor in my little classic 15 center console, if that gives you any idea of how wonderful the conditions were:

Our first rains are forecast for next week, however ;-(

The snow lasted for about a minute as the cold front moved thru the area......way too early for me. Forecast for tonight and tomorrow night is 30 to 32 degrees.

Really glad we had the Mullett Lake Rendezvous last weekend and not this weekend.

Today, BW1 is winterized and in the winter storage shed. Mr. Fisher is really upset.

We had a fine afternoon of sunshine, and in the sun, with temperatures of about 58-degrees, it was quite pleasant. I just returned from a boat ride, perhaps the last of the season, and I gave the hull sides a wash.

I was just thinking to myself, "We should have had the rendezvous this weekend," but I think I underestimated the importance of my location being about 250-miles to the south.

93 here in N.E. Fla with humidity about the same. You can cut the air with a chainsaw.

28 degrees F in Minneapolis last night and an inch of snow, high today was 36. I'm still hoping for a warm spate, not planning on covering up the Katama yet!

And now the NWS says 3" - 5" of snow Monday night and lows near 20 in MN. Rats. And our big boat is in the water yet.

We took a ride on the Hudson today. Northerly winds whipping down out of the north. SCA without a doubt, Had to take at least one last ride. After missing the entire summer rebuilding the starboard engine we're not going to have to many more 65* days.

It was nice and flat at Pt. Lobos to day, but the underwater
vis was horrible. We aborted the dive.

I just returned from the lake, we had 3" of wet snow in Excelsior, MN last night, but since our little Whaler is resting on the trailer, I took our vintage 1978 Cruisers Inc Bar Harbor out for a trip around a few of the islands on Lake Minnetonka. Beautiful day here, mid 30s, snow continues to fall, and it will be 60 degrees on Saturday. Gotta love it.

What a difference a couple of days makes:

TODAY
SE WINDS 35 TO 45 KT WITH OCCASIONAL STORM FORCE GUSTS TO
60 KT. COMBINED SEAS 12 TO 17 FT DOMINANT PERIOD 11 SECONDS. HEAVY
RAIN.

TONIGHT
SE WINDS 30 TO 40 KT WITH OCCASIONAL STORM FORCE GUSTS TO
60 KT EARLY...WINDS DECREASING TO 15 TO 25 KT BY MIDNIGHT.
COMBINED SEAS 12 TO 16 FT DOMINANT PERIOD 11 SECONDS. SHOWERS.

Hmmmm...17 foot seas and winds gusting to 60 knots. I guess my 15 center console stays on her trailer today. Now only if I had a Montauk...
