Can you tell which is which? http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t329/kalbus/July%203%202010/ SwampedCapacity.jpg

Bonus picture - I know that some of you "classic" Whaler guys don't like the looks of the "post-classic" Whalers, but how can you argue with this: http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t329/kalbus/July%203%202010/ TwoClassics.jpg

The little boat looks OK. The boat in the background isn't trimmed properly and there is a passenger in the bow on a boat without a bow rail. In some areas the Coast Guard frowns on this.
The only thing that I can see wrong on the smaller boat is the guy closest to the camera need to put a shirt on.

The boat in the background is pulling a tube, which accounts for the apparent lack of proper trim. You can see the float on the tube rope just behind the motor.

I've gotten used to post classic Whalers - they look better when wet.

That looks like an overloaded, over max weight capacity 11' Whaler. Possibly over swamped capacity if water added.

I love the boat in the background of your bonus picture, it looks like my Owens.

That 11' Whaler would last about 30 seconds in open water on Nantucket Sound.........

Kevin--Give us the location of those fine pictures. The water clarity looks excellent. What lake?

The pictures were taken in Lake Huron, off of Lakeside Park, just north of Port Huron.

Somewhere I have a picture of 12 people (half kids) in my 15. Took it like a champ. Gotta love the true capacity of the classic whalers.
